I decided not to heed the advice about not driving. At midnight last night out across Chain Bridge (the fall-line of the Potomac River, up Arizona Ave, to MacArthur Boulevard (following the path of the Delcarlia aqua duct) all the way to Old Anglers Inn on River Road, back to the Clara Barton Parkway (zipping past murky deer feeding in the median) down River Road that parallels the C&O Canal, through Georgetown back across the river on Key Bridge and via GW Parkway home — some 20 miles under the remnants of the Harvest Moon on a glorious 55° evening.
