I, too was a little concerned about having my fuel pump "Red Greened" to the beam with a hose clamp, so last year I mounted an Edlebrock fuel pump to the bulkhead with these.

Its its a little louder than the old pump but, unlike Gordon, I find the whirr reassuring. It's inaudible as soon as I start the engine.
