Reply to "leather interior color change - 2 tone"

Carlos,

Good timing on this post. I think I am having a coupe built (why am I laughing?) and was at the interior color part. The exterior would be one of many gray colors. I originally liked the light tan but when I considered the whole car and other factors, it really is a bit too showy and in your face (IMHO). I got to see a beautifully done 1927 (blue exterior and light tan interior) and a 57 Nomad (crème and blue with tan interior). Both looked fantastic if you were only looking at the interior or exterior by themselves. Like your original theme, it just didn't hit me either. I decided on the same theme as you but without the piping. To me, this medium dark brown (with a hint of red) is like an "old vintage" should be. It looks aged but not used. It goes well with just about every color. It will not show dark as much. I am just impressed how well your efforts paid off. Much better than a re-upholstery, eh? Good job. Much better looking car. Thanks for sharing.
