Yes, they were built by a famous eco-skeleton car maker in their China factory (think: smallest part of a chemical element)  :-)

They were meant to be electric but did not get Chinese approval so we brought them to the US for the company and helped sell them as projects.  The "Beck" part of it is that they moved through my facility.  Lamination looked to be better than average and the stainless chassis were beautiful.  A good project for someone, but no "paint by numbers" instructions and certainly some fabrication required...

Yeah, the high floor combined with banging his noggin on his(oops too late to change) welded-in cage.

Brock had a regular pan-based car, the body was from Doc Kleber. Plus he had a stock trans and a 1915 type1. An apple compared to this orange.

This ebay project has no cage, is not on a pan, and has a stainless pan/frame. And even though the body is not from Indiana, it has an MSO from there, which could be good. It could also end up with heat and A/C......

Everyone is getting their stories mixed up. The coupe from the eBay ad is Todd M’s car. It was one of the cars originally designed to be an electric car. He bought it and built it to this point. He even installed the lift in his garage and everything. You’ll recall he was also a master woodworker and was building a spiral staircase in his house.

Brock bought one of Doc Kleiber’s bodies, had issues getting it shipped, and did some amazing work amazingly fast.

Both suddenly stopped their projects without warning and are trying to sell them.

Im not sure who died but it wasn’t either of them.

I'm 99.9% sure it was a different guy. I believe Jim was referring to Brock from the SE USA.

Brock was a house on fire, then was over it and dropped it like a bad habit. I always thought it had to do with realizing that he should've dropped the floor (he didn't fit in the car), but perhaps it was something else.

Yeah, Brock was the guy I was referring to in my post (way) above. He liked to build and sell them. Came on here looking to showcase his build; he was looking for a buyer and never planned on keeping it. That car was for sale from the moment it landed in his hands and now that it's gone we'll never hear from him again.
