Looks from photos that there is enough room under the bonnet. If a space frame can be fabricated to accomodate anyone know any reason why this won't work? Just wondering as I may have the opportunity for a cheap Perry and the fabricating skills I have. I just don't know if it works dimensionally.
Thanks,
Paul

I can think of no reason it wouldn't work provided you are building a space frame. There's a fella down in CA who is still building Perry's (business). Might give him a call and run the idea past him.

But I'm with you - my eyeball measurements say that it would work if a person built a tube frame chassis. Further, there is a fellow on the spyderclub site who has a Perry with a sub-frame holding a northstar V8. Crafty fellow that guy - but I think that he proves that with skills this can be done.
