JayCee  No-Leak Pushrod Tubes are da-bomb. Use NO sealers of any kind, install them clean and bone-dry. You can install them engine in-car, just remove the rockers and pushrods.

I’d second the Jaycee springy pushrod rubes. My first motor had some slight leakage problems from the stock tubes. Took off the rockers and pushrods, crimp the old tubes, and pull them out. Installation of the Jaycee tubes was pretty straightforward. Someone, can’t remember who or from where, gave me a tip that was very helpful. Get an old belt or some other type of leather strap to wrap around any of the tubes that you can’t get a sure grip on to help compress them enough to install. This was very helpful on the last tube on each side when it gets tough to get your hand in there.
