Fastenal store to store shipping aka:  " 3PL" ( Third Party Logistics)  Fast Blue Lane.

https://www.fastenal.com/fast/blue-lane-freight

Items need to be on a wooden pallet, secured and have the weight and L - W - H measurements.  All you do is enter the info online with Fastenal getting back to you same day with a quote. I shipped 4 - 17" wheels & tire and two cartons. The pallet was 42" x 48" x 38" high it weighted 268 lbs. Cost from West Virginia to Indiana  was a reasonable $136.00 and it arrived in three days.  There are specific weight, size and product limitations. Overall it was simple flawless process, I delivered the pallet to the local Fastenal Store they off loaded with a forklift and had the paperwork with a tracking number ready to sign. Shipping can be prepaid at drop off or, cod at the destination Fastenal Store.

Good to know.  Last year I used Greyhound to ship a Speedster hood - Northwest FL to NC.  Good price but could tell the company wasn't serious about shipping part (phones never answered - old info listed on web site).  Fast forward to year later and a local SOCer asked me about shipping a Speedster front corner via Greyhound.  He said the Pensacola station (1/2 hr away) no longer accepted shipping. He ended up using Dothan, AL over an hour away.  After he shipped it, he said Greyhound no longer accepts packages.  When I left my package, the old guy that accepted it said Greyhound had been sold 3 times in as many years (German company now owns) - he doubted it would last until he retired!  With diesel prices up and drivers not wanting to work - shipping prices have sky rocketed!
