1958 Vintage Speedster goes through Barrett-Jackson

Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2019 auction on 04/12/19 Lot #368.1 SOLD at No Reserve a 1958 VS with "less than 2,350 original miles" @ $41,800. The Speedie (VIN 118374582) titled as a '68 VW, was touted as custom painted in "Cream Brule" (I always thought it was Creme Brulee, but whatta I know?), with a 1915cc, a "388 4-speed manual" tranny, front discs, headlight grilles, and the other normal VS accoutrements. By the way, BJ always lists the Speedies as "Porsche Speedster Re-creations."

Gentlemen (OK...and Ladies): The price of our Toys is certainly going up...up...up!
