Great job Jim as always ! Thanks to all the folks who took pictures and video's of the weekend. I had fun doing the Hwy 1 cruise with Napa Paul, Troy and Sally also meeting all the knuckleheads on Friday while enjoying an adult beverage. As you know I had to skip the Saturday cruise, but glad I was there to help Troy and Sally get back on the road. I will be there next year, "God Willing and with help from Greg" in my new Slate Gray Speedster.

El Guapo,

The effort and time you put forward is really appreciated by those of us unfortunate  few who couldn’t make it for one reason or another. Honestly, the first time I watched your video, It made me sick to my stomach. Sick to the fact that I sold my car. Hopefully the coming year when we settle in, I will have my day in the Sun, so to speak.

Ciao,

Brian

1996 miles from Madison...I'll just have to live out my fantasy through your videos. Looks like you folks were good law abiding citizens; no spirited driving or leaving fiberglass parts strewn over the road.

Great job Jim. This Jim loves Hwy 1.

I gave them my best “police escort” I could. Spirited drives require the right participants and the right circumstances. Our get together is for cruising and everyone seems to enjoy that.

@RacerX

Brian, it's always good to hear from you, my brutha!

Keep this in mind, because of the camaraderie we've all developed as gear-heads, the cars have really become a secondary element. Because of this dynamic, many previous SOCers still joined this West Coast Cruise with their 'other' favorite vehicle, whatever it was. So the event is really a 'Run-What-You-Brung Cruise'. While others, like yourself sold their prized Speedsters/Coupes/Spyders for personal reasons, they continued to join the shenanigans.

So, whatever it takes, plan on joining us next year! We'll be waiting for you in Malibu for the caravan to SLO!
