Just returned from Ocean City , fabulous time about 75 great 356's including at least 3 Carrera's, one Carrera Speedster, stone gray (my favorite) and 2 Carrera 2's. A 1951 1100 cc Coupe ! By the way the Carrera Speedster was driven by an 84 year old from Connecticut to Ocean City.

Exceedingly cool. Thanks for the pictures.
Wow, very nice! I like that streamliner. I thought they only made one? Is that a replica? What heresy!
The gentelman who drove the Carrera Speedster owns a business in Connecticut that makes all metal Spyders, "Spyder Creations" $330,000 to $470,000 the more expensive one sports an original 4 cam engine.
Actually, that show reminds me of seeing a 57 speedster at Carlisle quite well kept and the guy had bought it used in 1975 for $750 the same year I had bought my 59 coupe for $500 ... I wrecked mine and he restored his ... today his is a collectors piece ...
Here is a pict of Dave Mitchell speaking with the gentleman.
BTW, @MusbJim the sign says real... just kidding.

Danny, yes my understanding is that there are now two, one was commissioned by the factory for their museum, and the one pictured was done free lance.
Cool Chuck. Thanks for the pics, and say hi to Maggie!
