550 in Bermuda - motor preference

Hi all!

Im considering getting a 550 replica kit and building it in my soon to be home in Bermuda. I was wondering if there is any real restrictions to how large a motor one can put in a 550 Spyder, I am not considering something in the direction of a m3 motor, but would like some ooomph for when I take it back to Germany. Any personal preferences / experiences? Also is there anyone who has had experience with Thunder Ranch as I will probably go for their complete kit?
