Wombat, Pat Downs recommended an A-1 (all-stainless) exhaust for Whitecloud's latest engine. I like the sound. It, along with the previous Vintage Speed exhaust were both louder than I like, but everyone likes the A-1 including Kathy and my neighbors.

This is the best (sorry excuse) photo I have of it. The muffler hangs astride/outboard of the passenger-side valve-cover. I have heater-boxes, this photo at the Hearst Hacienda was taken in November and it hit the 20's at night that trip.

@wombat

Here is a video of A-1 Sidewinder on my VS. It has a nice sound on acceleration and a mellow sound while cruising. The pics are of the system on my current VS, it hangs a bit lower than the typical A-1 exhaust (long story).

When the video starts, click on the 'Gear' icon in lower right and adjust video quality to 720HD.

I've attached a photo of A-1 system on my VS (on the right of pic) compared to the typical A-1 application on my buddy's Speedster (SOC 'Dutch').

Hope you find this info helpful.

That CSP unit looks to be a better system with it's equal length tubing.

I’ve purchased 4 sidewinder headers from A1, and 1 lowdown. I’ve never seen the CSP in the flesh, but it is advertised as being equal length. The primary tubes on the A1 sidewinder vary top to a foot in length.

If I had it to do again, I would absolutely get a CSP Python.
