Well, I'm in Mexico until January now. On the way down I stopped at VMC one last time to see how my Spyder frame was coming. All that was done is the engine mounts so far. The engine and transaxle were over at Outfront Motorsports for additions and mods to the cooling system connections. Primarily to weld on AN16 aluminum connections to that water manifold and to remove the VW Adaptor and and flywheel and change over to a total Subaru flywheel, clutch and T/O big. External fuel pump was exchanged for an internal one going in the gas tank. The assembly is now back to Greg to get the rear drivetrain and IRS suspension fabricated. When thats complete it goes out for the front suspension. Won't know what size wheels and tires I'll be using until all that's done.

While down at VMC, I took a pic of a beautiful transaxle going in a car that will be displayed at SEMA in Las Vegas in Nov. It's going in a Spyder that Greg is building for that same client that had the Plum colored Speedster with the upholstered engine compartment. It was a very bizarre show car but the guy ended up selling it for a lot of money and it's in Japan now or somewhere over there. Anyway, the Spyder he is having built is actually going to look pretty cool. I think.  It will have centered steering and the Weber 48 Velocity stacks will be projecting out of the clam shell lid. Greg has some conceptual photos of it. The transaxle, engine, and frame will be gold paint as in the pic here. Highlighted with polished ribs etc. The car color will be black (I think) with sort of gold/orange trim. Anyway, I thought some of you may like to see this..........Bruce
