Oscar and I have a new friend! I had the great pleasure of meeting Jack Crosby today in Hot Springs. It gave me a chance to take a good look at another Speedie and compare the two. I learned a lot and was even given the opportunity to drive his. WOW! That thing is a Hot Rod.

I drove away with a list of things on my To-Do List and I think we just might have figured out a fix for my top. Jack is a wealth of knowledge, and I appreciate him taking the time to meet with me today...Thanks Jack!

UNCLE!

Yep--Scott and I had a nice meeting here in Hot Springs yesterday.
He drove his Speedster up from Texarcana, AR having a nice day off from flying a corporate jet all over the world!

His Speedster was built in 2001 but you would think it was done recently. It has obviously had great care over it's life. The color
is a greenish teal ---gorgeous color! The engine is a Type I 1600 that purrs---starts right up and smooth as silk. He is going to see a lot of grinning miles from this combo. Two small Weber carbs compliment the engine and makes it far more powerful that 1600ccs.
I liked the smooth sound of this engine---much nicer than the one I had.

Scott has already had two offers to buy this car in just the couple of months he's had it and the bargain he negotiated on this car means he will always make $$ if he ever sells it.

Nice friendly sharp young guy (compared to me!) and a great addition to the SOC! I'm looking forward to some crusin' with Scott
Thanks for the visit, Scott and congrats on scoring a nice Speedster!
