I have a JPS Speedster. 2018 build.  The previous owner did no tinkering and the car sat mostly so needed some carb work and a few other small things. I can tell you John Steele has bent over backwards to help me with any issues and information. He Has sent me replacement parts at no charge, etc. I have only had a good experience with JPS and love my car.

Wow!! Don't see too many of these unsolicited testimonials.  JPS can be very accommodating --- until they aren't. My JPS Speedster had more than a few sorting issues and JPS was pretty responsive to my issues with advice, and some replacement parts.  For a while.  Then, after a while --- not so much.  So it's a mixed bag with JPS.  and that was then ('08) and much has changed with that shop since. I have had no interaction for several years now. And really, sorting with these hand built replicas can go on for quite a while. If you are not a gearhead and don't like fussing with cars, it can be a real trial.  The SOC here can be very helpful with that, as the brain trust here is immense, and easily accessed.

Talk to Greg Leach at Vintage. His waiting list is shorter than Beck. He might be able to get you one in the next 18 months. Beck is more like 30 months. Remember Vintage cars are all pan cars which will make them easier to register. All new Beck cars are space frame with modern suspension and rack and pinion steering. Is it worth the extra wait. Your call. But do your homework and maybe give Greg a call.

I’m picking up a used one from JPS as I await my new Vintage Motorcars build due in first or second quarter of next year. JPS has been great with me. Car is a customer car with 250 miles, Subaru 2.5 DOHC 180 HP, with all the goodies. They put in a new interior for me as I hated the original interior color. They have been great to deal with so far. Should be ready for pickup tomorrow. I’ll post more photos when I get it.
