I want to install air-con in the new build for my wife and thinking of an in-dash installation, or even little "pods" to contain the outlet vents. I really want to avoid a underdash unit.
Does anyone have one and pics to share?

I am in Thailand so every car has air-con and there is no shortage of shops to put something together rather than importing a kit.

The engine is FI with Megasquirt and EDIS so there is no distributor or fuel pump in the way of mounting the compressor. I will likely have to fabricate my own mount and looking for ideas and suggestions IE:
1 belt or two?
Idler pulley?
pulley ratio?
Where to mount the air-con rad as there is also an oil cooler taking up space and engine cooling air is a concern

How about these eye-ball outlets? I have seen them all chrome and different sizes too. ~2" ones could go in dash or unseen under the dash.

Something else to put on my "junkyard" list.

that is what I have in mind for the vents.
Any suggestions on the other issues?
