But you're throwing away a $20-30k car that you could actually be driving while doing the swap.  Your old body would be worth maybe $5k.  I'd think you'd want to start with a new tube frame and go with a Subaru rear engine then plunk the coupe body on it.  

So I guess the FL sun has been beating down on you bear head too much? Lane always complained the wind was tossing his heair around - hence the move to a coupe. In the South you'd want a heck of an AC (and big sun roof) in a coupe or you'd bake.

There are many I think that once they suffer the time frame of the build,  then the agony of the sorting especially when they live far away from the builder it makes them just want to bail out.  

I mean a DD would be gone in a few months with the sorting required on these cars.
