Are you talking about brake shoes?

A bunch of Vee guys use Porterfield RD-4 which are less expensive. Especially for the rear brakes as they don't wear or brake nearly as much as the front. Notice the fronts are 40mm wide and the rears are 30mm.

Then there are Carbotech which are pretty expensive.

The regular Carbotech people in North Carolina can't really help you, they do pads.

The dad(Mike Puskar Sr. 216-642-8502) is in Ohio with a different facility just for shoes. I haven't had to buy shoes yet.

I'm pretty sure ALL the later drum cars(66-up) had curved shoes(where the starwheel adjuster hits) instead of the older flat style. But I would check my car first before ordering anything.

This looks like a great reference for folks who don’t know exactly what calipers they have.
