Looks decent to me, too!

After many years of hanging out on the Carlisle show field I've grown accustomed to seeing those big diameter Nerf bars on Speedsters but never a set that's sticking out that far.

Ideally, they should be far enough forward to clear anything else sticking out on the front end, like driving/fog lights, by an inch or so.  If that is the test, then Pearl fails by an inch or two:

Mine are really delicate-looking compared to a lot of them I've seen (mine are 7/8" diameter), but the set I received from CMC as part of the kit (which looked a bit like those on the black car) were considered "Too Big and Clunky" by my Hot rod friends, so Hot Rod Charlie whipped up a set for me out of bar stock he had kicking around, and I had them chromed locally.  After 20 years of being on there I see zero rust or anything.

Cut the nerf bars down top (just a little) and bottom (a lot), pull them in closer to the body and  re-clock them so they follow the body lines and they'll look pretty cool in a retro sort of way...

Like Gordon's in his post above!  I knew there was a set here that I really liked.  These also look the part-                                                                                                                            Speedster- Patina!

Had agreed on a deal with this guy..... even paypal him a good faith sum of cash then he told me the car was in FL not Illinois.  I told him that was even better because that's where I was and let's make arrangements so that I could come see the car.  Then he went ghost for days.  I tried calling, texting, emailing and no answer!!  I thought I was out my downpayment.  About 4 days later he refunded my PayPal without as much as an explanation ...... oh well.

thats just about as close to a scam as U can get...once they have ur $ UR at their mercy..

Never ever and I mean never ever ever send money via "Friends and Family" with PayPal unless you 100% know the person. If you don't know them send money via the other method which I think is called "Goods and Services". The seller pays a fee but that's the cost of doing business. Of you pay with F&F you can't get your money back if it's a scam. If you pay the other way PayPal will guarantee the transaction, IIRC.
