Does anyone know this car? It is listed as a Vintage Spyder but I'm not sure. It has a unique exhaust and doesn't have the "slits" in the rear end side panels like others I have seen.

Thanks!

That's not a Vintage, although I can't remember the name of the manufacturer (senior moment)  This one is rear (instead of mid) engined, and it's on a Beetle pan instead of the usual tube frame.

It is a Perry, I built one. It's on a full size VW pan and is rear engine. Notice part of the space behind the seats and extra body length between the rear of the door and front of the clam shell rear end. Google Perry Designs for more info, Perry used photos of my Spyder in Kit Car magazine advertisements (Dark Metallic Blue with White racing stripes). Car was easy to build but very flimsy, it flexes with every bump and has virtually no safety features. Probably as safe as driving an open go-kart in traffic.

the 2 perrys Ive seen were mid enginedas I recall.but the mind does tend to play tricks from time to time, lastnight was a doozzey.
