Anyone own a Thunder Ranch Speedster ?  I am building a TR , it accepts the usual Beetle pedal assembly. It will need to be altered to make the horizontal clutch arm function correctly .... wondering if anyone has been down this road ?  Hopefully an answer before I take it to a machine shop to apply my design fix ...

Ok, I’m having a senior moment.

What/where is “the horizontal clutch arm”?

The semi-vertical arm inside of the tunnel on the end of the clutch pedal shaft?

The horizontal clutch arm shaft that is part of the base of the pedal assembly... the TR frame as it has a  1-1/2 x 1-1/2" square tube frame at the pedal mount and the cutch cable hook on the end needs to be extended 2" to the right.

I usually don't flustered but this was a unique challenge, I had a concern that extending the shaft 2" that it might bend or facture over time, so we decided to fabricate a spacer that will support the arm rod against the pedal vertical mounting surface , if that makes sense ...good,  but I'll post a photo when I get it back and installed.
