Hoping to attend this upcoming event that Jody07 told me about. It's 10-4 on 27 Oct 2018. Hoping to spend one night there - 3 hr drive for me. Nothing is better than old cars, oysters, and beer. No mention but the Oyster Brewery is in downtown Apalachicola (blink and you'll miss it!) Jody says it isn't swamped with tourists either. Apalachicola is a trip back in time with old Victorian houses and an old Florida fishing village atmosphere. Post here if you plan to attend and we'll all meet up for a pint of Mango beer! $20 to enter - discount lodging and restaurants coupons at their web site below. (Darn - no fried mullet!) Nearby St George's Island and lighthouse are worth a visit too.

I heard today that the local Porsche club will be there. I think the club covers the area between Tallahassee and Destin/Ft. Walton.
