I certainly feel badly for those that have lost their deposits, but as to loosing your dream, it can still live on.  Like many things objective items life, all it takes is time and money.  Yes, loosing money is bad enough, but don't let that stop you from stepping up to the plate again to fulfill a dream.

I hope I had not steered anyone into this con artist.  Last year I posted a couple of photos after driving by the Scottsdale facility (which had been closed) and again of the Goodyear facility that was actually building cars.  I'm sure I gave some false sense of hope, I am truly sorry for my misguidance.

It isn't your fault Steve. there's only one person to blame for misguiding people and that is Matt Teernik. You only showed he was still open and the facility was still in operation at that moment in time.

Matt is a crook...end of story!

I ordered a car early 2020, wired my deposit, etc.  One delay after another the writing was on the wall that Matt was full of it.  I decided to cancel my car but Matt insisted he'd build the car using my build slot and sell it promising me even more $'s to be refunded to me.

Another year passed and I threatened to retain a lawyer.  Matt sent me pictures of supposed progress and then a picture of the car he says he completed as per my slot that he was trying to sell.  Said he had a buyer and soon as the money came in he would wire it that week.  That never happened, Matt said the buyer from the "Middle East" fell through but he had another buyer coming to the shop that weekend to look at the car.  Well that never happened as well.

The writing was on the wall and I began to snoop around.  I found the exact car he said he built in my slot and emailed me a picture of for sale at Diamond Motorworks in Illinois.  I contacted them directly and the car had been sold two months earlier.

I contacted Matt and told him the gig was up...I want my money in 24hrs or I would contact the police, hire an attorney and release the endless bullpoop emails from him to the internet and let the cat out of the bag.

I was wired half my deposit the next day and was told the other half would come in 2 days.  Didn't happen, 2nd half never arrived.  Again I contacted Matt and told him I don't care where he gets the money from even if he had to go out back of his shop and get on his knees...I want the funds wired today or else.

The 2nd half was finally wired.

I'm one of the lucky ones.  Matt is a criminal and should be prosecuted...this wreaks of Ponzi Scheme.

I certainly believe like you and everyone involved that Matt is a crook. No disrespect, but carrying the message to others is in the best interest to not only you, but other’s going through this situation. Ivan certainly glad you received your money, but at this point my only motivation is to see him go to jail and or be punished financially for the rest of his life.

Please add me to the list for any class action or lawsuit.  I'm glad I found this blog.  I visited the Scottsdale, AZ VS shop in Nov 2020 and gave my $20K deposit a couple weeks later.  From all the conversations on here we were ALL told the same BS over the years.
