Alan--right now the very last thing I want to do is sell my Speedster!!

But thanks for the bill of sale--I printed it and put it in a file for "way down the road." You have a couple of good points in that document that will be very helpful to a seller---especially selling a replica car too.

Thanks! ---Jack
Just a word of caution, Many states now require a Bill of Sale on an approved DMV form. Having the bill of sale as presented above is also a good idea and lays out several disclaimers and should be kept with your records...

I usually go to the Auto Club and stock up on DMV forms and keep them in my file cabinet for future use. You can also go to DMV and obtain forms and, in some instances, they will mail them to you.
Just to add, I've noticed several states that have an official downloadable bill of sale on their DMV websites. Indiana is one of them. There is also a site called DMV.org that will link the official bills of sale from each state. If your state does not have a DL version, then they just link to a generic version similar to what is posted above.
Did a search, New England states don't seem to offer a "bill of sale" form on any of the DMV web sites.
They DO require that the seller's and buyer's address be listed, something missing from Alan's blank sample.

So . . . I added in the blanks on MY version, and now it's better than Alan's ! ! ! !

"FP... the only real stock tip I can suggest is stock up on food water and ammo, could get ugly :)"

I haven't stalked up yet, I still don't have the room. I DO have a strong length of pipe to use as a ram, and a Sten with a big bucket full of rounds that I just pulled out of my Father's house. I figure that if it all turns to shit, I'll just hit the neighbors and start "shopping for free."
