New Speedster owner here, again. My Porsche body emblem on the rear of my car is starting to lift off the body. Any thoughts on reattaching it. It appears that there is some adhesive that holds it?
Also, any source for chrome or brushed aluminum emblems for these cars. I've always felt the gold is a bit too glitzy!
Finally (for now) ... I have an Empi Shifter. Any thoughts on an upgrade? What bare the best shifters out there?

What I’d do: Test some GooGone on a small, out of sight area to make sure it won’t affect your paint, then soak the rest of the (still attached) emblem for 5-10 minutes, then work dental floss underneath it until it comes off. Then clean all the remaining adhesive off the car and the emblem.
If you search some threads about emblems you’ll find a link to a company that provides die cut double sided tape to reattach.
Personally, I would just use 3M emblem adhesive.
WD40 works well too..needs to soak in for awhile
As far as shifters go consider getting a Vintage Speed Shifter. But before you buy one remind us again of what kind of Speedster you have? CMC, Vintage Speedster Kirk era, Vintage Motorcar, Beck...???? IIRC, the VSS doesn't fit all of the Speedsters but I could be wrong, I probably am wrong, I know I've been wrong before.
