Hey Guys,

Looking for some advice for Braided hose sizes(fuel, breather, etc) and AN fitting sizes and types for replacing all my hoses in the engine compartment. I have a 2165cc in a Beck. Will be fitting new Jamar or similar pedal cluster this spring also. Any help would be great. Advice on shocks to improve on the stock Beck's would also be appreciated.

Brian...

I can't comment on the hose/fitting request, but if you are looking for replacement shocks, KYG gas shocks work great on the average street ride. Don't use the heavier shocks unless you can tolerate a stiffer ride than a Bilstien'd Super 90.

Your OEM shocks should start to give out shortly. The first indication will probably be an decrease in rear end camber as the back end creeps toward the pavement.

Good Luck....Enjoy the ride.....

Brian, Leon meant to say KYB shocks.... I had them and they worked great.

Most stores that sell AN (Army/Navy) fittings can supply you with the necessary fittings to fit your carb fuel inlets and, can either make the hose or sell you all the necessary fititngs required.

-6 is used for fuel line. -8 works great for breathers and the hose that runs from the top of your air cleaner to the breather bung located near your oil fill (you'll need a push fitting for the bung) If you have stock valve covers, you can purchase a press fit breather vent or weld in a 3/8" NPT bung so you can route hose from the valve covers to a remote breather. If you have cast valve covers, you can dril and tap a hole to accomodate a screw in AN fitting.
