After working my but off and replacing a master cylinder twice yesterday i checked everthing over today and the front calipers are leaking some. I guess sence the brake system has been dry for over 10 years the seals have gone bad or will the seals improve after they have fluid on them for a while? I sure hope i dont have to replace the calipers too.

There are at least a couple of types. your being 10 yr olds look for vw part # stamps on them some where. mine are off a type 3 sq.back the pads are smaller then the Karman disks calipers. My pads measure 35mm from center pin hole to hole, and a 50mm from edge to edge. The Karman's are about 5mm wider. I don't know if the kits are diff but pobably. (mm corrected)
& a source for Kits I do not know.
When reassembling them make sure that the anti chatter springs that lay over the pads do not press on the calipers, just on the pads. I experienced a simular prob, and discovered that the new springs were forcing the calipers apart enough. pump up 7 or 8 stokes to feel the pressure against the disks then release a tiny bit then nothing.
