Shots for over 50 are approved in NY. We made our appointments for both shots for both of us. We'll be good to go in plenty of time before May.

I have been Pfizerized x 2.  Have plenty of masks. Currently holding for the hotel group reservation desk. I bet they don't work on Sundays . . .  Will get this done. Also will sign up for the Fairgrounds.  Looking on this thread for the total WTF is going on when and where posting.  Is that coming along soon? Has it been worked out?  And fees?  Money to send in?

Helpful hint: don't try to make reservations on a Sunday.

Glad to be back. Took an extended hiatus, using the FB SOC group for my daily fix.  Missing a lot over here on the mother site.  I'm afraid if I dive back in, I won't get anything else done.

How can you follow anything on any Facebook site?  Even trying to find something you looked at 3 or 4 hours ago is usually hopeless.

Confusion between Ls and Rs happens a lot around here.  For some unknown reason, L and R sound the same to the Chinese.  I think part of it is the L sound isn't part of their language.

My wife, being Chinese, sometimes swaps the two.

Here in eastern Massachusetts, we drop Rs completely from time to time, and misplace them most of the other time.  

Come to think of it, we drop or misplace a lot of Ls, too, not to mention doing what evah we want with most consonants and vowels!

You sure she's not from the greater Bahsten area?    

Maybe she went to school here and the local dialects just sorta happened?

Actually, folks, I have not only been privy to Alan's banquet venue, but Kathy and I have eaten there in years past and let me tell you, It'sa first-a classy joint!  I'm sure that Dr. Clock has been making final arrangements right from the beach loungers in Dominica, Rum Swizzle or Banana Caribe in hand, 'cuz he's that kinda guy!
