Bump.

It's six weeks until Carlisle, folks. I have right now 40 for the banquet and I'm pretty sure that's a short count so let's get those forms in. Here's what I have so far on the spreadsheet:

Bruce and Norma Stumpp, Lane Anderson, Bill Ascheman, Jim Lanz & guest, Michael & Jianping McKelvey, David & Francine Stroud, Jack Crosby, Toni & Max Zimmer, Kelly Frazier and Barbara Solomon, Paul Mossberg, Wolfgang and Adrian Seitz, Danny P and Michelle, Allan and Barbara Shapiro, El Guapo Jim Ignacio & Ginny, Cory and Jeni Drake, Bill & Audrey Haas; Lenny Cuccureddu (send your form, cuz), Jim and Bob Vickers, Michael Warjas and Dianne Croxford, Dave Kumpf, Dale Schumacher and also Mike Valenzano, Paul Holden and Glenn McCoy. Oh and me and Karen of course.

Much love to my Plastic Clown Car Fam. If you sent the form and/or the cash and are not on this list please chime in either here of privately so we can rectify.

OK FOLKS, JUST A COUPLE WEEKS UNTIL THE DEADLINE. PLEASE GET ME THOSE FORMS AND YOUR BANQUET BUCKS IF YOU'RE COMING FOR THE SATURDAY MEAL. WE'RE IN THE HIGH 40S NOW AT LEAST SO IT'S GETTING PRETTY GOOD!

ALSO REMEMBER TO BRING A THING FOR THE ANNUAL RAFFLE. THE CASH RAISED FROM THAT GOES BACK INTO THE KITTY TO GET NEXT YEAR'S SHOW PLANNED AND PAID-FOR.

FINALLY, ONE LAST THING: THE CARLISLE FOLKS DO A TOY DRIVE EVERY YEAR SO IF YOU WANT, BRING A NEW, UNWRAPPED TOY AND WE'LL GET THEM TO THE RENAULT OWNERS CLUB, WHICH ARE RUNNING THAT.

IN OTHER NEWS: I GOT MY STICKER YESTERDAY! NOW ALL I NEED IS A CAR TO STICK IT ON.

Added Carey Hines and Chris Thibbodeau, each a plus-one. Plus Chris's brother Ray is gonna maybe park his Cobra in with us.

Weather permitting, my brother is in for Saturday. He is probably bringing his father who will probably have a hard time wiping the smile off his face after the ride up. We are coming in something. Either the Spyder or the 987 CS.

Ed, As to the list I'm good, except no right seater this time  :-( .  We can settle on all of that as suits you.

Rich's Red Rocket is mighty cool, no doubt about it.  Likewise Danny's "new" Spyder.  Two very different shades of cool, but cool all the same.  But what I would REALLY wish to have turn with will be the new Hines SE Coupe.  If it will be possible to tear Lane's hands off the thing.

SIX DAYS TO GO UNTIL CARLISLE BANQUET DEADLINE.

I've got to give the hall a final guaranteed headcount (and a check to cover it) next FRIDAY MAY 10 so everybody who wants to eat with us better get me your form and the moolah by then.

Here's the count so far; looking good, people!

Bruce and Norma Stumpp, Lane Anderson, Bill Ascheman, Jim Lanz & guest, Michael & Jianping McKelvey, David & Francine Stroud, Jack Crosby (and Alice!), Toni & Max Zimmer, Kelly Frazier and Barbara Solomon, Paul Mossberg, Wolfgang and Adrian Seitz, Danny P and Michelle, Allan and Barbara Shapiro, El Guapo Jim Ignacio & Ginny, Cory and Jeni Drake, Bill & Audrey Haas; Lenny Cuccureddu (send your form, cuz), Jim and Bob Vickers, Michael Warjas and Dianne Croxford, Dave Kumpf, Dale Schumacher and also Mike Valenzano, Paul Holden and Glenn McCoy.

Rick Milczanowski and guest, Al and Heidi Gallo. Tab Tanner, Bob and Mary Carley, Rich Drewek, Ray Arseneau, Chris and Karen Thibodeau, Ron & Maddie Mullis, Al and Connie Merklin, and me and Karen of course.

Pending is Al Blanchette. He's supposed to be Drewek's right seater in his 911.

By my count that's 56 banquet eaters. A couple more would be nice; I told the lady to plan on 50-100.

Please everyone remember to bring an item for the annual SOC Plastic Clown Car Accessories Raffle for immediately after the dinner. Everything Must Go! (Into the kitty to pay for next year's event).

I'm about to start printing out name cards which I truly hope will be an easier job than wiring the Spyder.

If you sent me a form and/or money and I didn't list you here please PM or email me so I can stammer embarressedly that my Google Sheet has a bug in it or some such.

Much love to all y'all PCCA people.

HEY, that's not nice! And I never injure myself before Carlisle, only other times of the year. As Gordon says Pffffffttttt!

And once at Carlisle!  When it comes to Carlisle - I see an accident prone tendancy. Note - another use of blue painters tape!

Yeah, this is getting old. Here's the story for those who don't know:

Friday night, go-karts, 2010. All lined up on the indoor slick-track. We get started, one, maybe two laps, and I got bumped by somebody(whose initials are CD) and get turned 180 degrees and stopped facing oncoming karts. This kid, not one of our group, comes straight at me head-on, full throttle, WHAMMMO! Doesn't lift or react in any way, dumbass I say. Anyway, major whiplash and nothing but pain for weeks. Actually, permanent clicking and stiffness. Which is why I am very serious about safety and the fragility of our meat-carcasses. And I don't do go-karts.

So, I ask, exactly how is any of this my fault, or makes me accident-prone?
