Attention owners of Speedster and Spyder replicas:

Speedsters and Spyders are gathering in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania the weekend of May 11-14, 2023.  This will be a casual weekend to include informal dinners, cruises, much parking lot socializing and evening partying in the hotel party room. On Saturday, May 13, there will be a cruise/day trip to the Import & Performance Nationals at the Carlisle, Pennsylvania Fairgrounds (see registration info below).

LODGING:

A block of rooms have been set aside at the Courtyard Harrisburg West/Mechanicsburg  Marriott, 4921 Gettysburg Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  There is a special rate of $139/night.  Call the hotel at (717) 766-9006, ask for Charity Shreffler and tell her you're with the “Speedster Group”,

Special rate is available Wednesday, May 10 to Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Last Day to Book: Monday, April 10, 2023.

Will use the Carlisle thread but---tell us about "Informal dinners"  In the past there were two group dinners plus a banquet on the last evening.  A chance to mingle with all the SOCers.  We did have one Free For All evening where we got a group together and dined together.   Need to understand informal, pls.

  Are the cruises also "Informal"?  I am getting my Speedster ready for my 13th Carlisle which is a 2,500 trip including a side trip home to see our daughter's family in DC.and cannot wait to see the gang and many friends both new and old.

Jack, Ed Ericson is posting updates on the Carlisle 2023? thread, check that thread for plans.  There is at least one group dinner planned for Saturday evening with deserts back at the hospitality room.   He also has cruises posted for Thursday and Friday.  BTW, if anyone uses Facebook, I'm trying to post all of Ed's plans over there under "Speedster Owners".
