Yup.

Unfortunately, it sounds like your throw-out bearing actuator arm or the shaft connected to the arms and the actuator arm on the outside of the tranny case have broken. This is, unfortunately, more common than one might think, due to re-use of older parts or use of cheap Asian parts by the tranny builders (often, that's all they can get....).

Still, you have to pull the engine (not that big a deal) and see what's what. CB and others sell stronger assemblies if you wish to replace it and forget it.

While you have it out, you might as well replace the clutch and pressure plate. Some may recommend that you get the flywheel clutch surface re-faced to make sure it's flat and true. Can't hurt, but if the clutch was not chattering before, then, most likely it's OK (you could also have the flywheel just checked for flatness and run-out - the machine shop dude will tell you if it needs to be re-faced.)
