So wondering if since I'm very tight but, does not rub on my 185's--can I use a shortened control arm on just the drivers side to match up with passenger's side? Not my build (done in the 80's). Would there be an issue with tracking etc?

The problem is with the CMC body install.... Very few were centered correctly on the pan / frame and for some reason the driver side always the tight side.... Tracking was not a problem if body alignment was the only issue.... My Speedster had this issue but I went with the low buck method and used a wheel spacer on the passenger side to make the car more pleasing to the eye.... The car was fun, and was a one off shot at infamy......
Yes exactly-off centered body by 1 inch---read it many times. Not sure why any builder would permit this to happen when the initial building is happening. I've read how taxing it would be to go back to square 1 and remove the body. This car tracks straight and no pull to either side-car let go of wheel and it tracks straight. So those that think this is a possible solution to moving the drivers side in and inch---please chime in.
