Just to say how the madness can drive you crazy, I had an issue with my top leading edge where the Power WINDOW when in the up position would rub against the edge of the top.  Not a problem for most of you south of the 49th where there is no need for canvas tops, haartz or otherwise, let alone roll up windows.

Anyway, after 5 years the blemish was driving me crazy so I asked one of my favourite ladies in the whole wide world to fix/sew it up for me.

1st and 2nd pict edge worn

3rd pict edge darned and protected

from further away

from far away

TO also solve the issue I installed a module that links to my keyfob so when I press the button it will automatically lower the powerwindow before opening the door.  My top is still in great shape otherwise.

On newer builds the tops I am told do not have this issue as improvements were made.

IM makes the rear window unzippeable which allows you to fold it down and drive with a canopy so to speak.  It is folded down right in the pict to give access to the top underside for sewing.

Great job, the top looks nice and firmly in place.  It is kind of cool to be able to fix our cars compared to the plastic parts of the daily drivers

Don't feel bad original Roadsters did not have a zip down rear window at all.

IM created it and adds it now to all it's car which to me is a great addition as Michael says you do not have to be buffeted by the wind.

Actually, it goes like this, you drive top down and when your quota of sun is up you put up the canopy and you leave the rear window DOWN.  As you get hotter you turn on the AC and zip up the rear window, Power up the side windows and your in an AC chamber.

Oh btw you can with the top up and rear window down run some AC if your too hot at the foot well ... Talk about creature comforts :>

In a Toronto region, the mayor of a well knows city requested data be cleaned up by the hospitals as the cases of covid being recorded from people showing up at hospitals for routine surgery was skewing the data sufficiently that he thought the data was misleading.   You see they were screened and found to be positive but were asymptomatic.  That made me think...I wonder if they screen routinely for HIV ?

More seriously of course, in what we are living today, whether you are fully vaccinated or not, anyone can be a carrier if infected and it is a fallacy to think that doubly vaccinated persons are not carriers if they happen to be asymptomatic.  The same fallacy exists that a non vaccinated person is causing the variants, that defies basic science.  Antibiotics create resistants strains and it is the same in the viral world.

The Omicron version seems to be so close to the common cold in symptoms (Sx) that 50% of people that have a cold are Cv positive.

The most logical approach now is that when you have cold symptoms you get a rapid test, if your positive get a viracidal drug.  Monoclonal Antibodies. etc  We are now 2 years into this nonsense, get to know what treatment options are near you, call them and make a plan!!!  See if your eligible for whatever treatment.

BTW I still can't figure out why there is simply one approach to treatment, vaccine or wait at home with nada!

A relative had J&J in Detroit... they got covid, but they had no access it seems to any out patient treatment. They were so ill they could not get their head off the pillow and they had no other significant other to help them, as they were in hospital as well.  They recovered but not without much suffering.

I know there is a lot of controversy and differing opinions, as my wife always says read the room Ray,  but the only other choice is isolate and hope you get through it or land in hospital before you get treated.

Enough said, you have a 1% chance of getting it ...
