Here you go, @aircooled  Just remember that with a pearlescent, the hue changes very slightly as you move around in the light.  It is NOT like those radically color-changing paints at all.  It also changes depending on the light.  Mercury Vapor parking lot lights make it absolutely glow.

Pearlescent is NOT like metalflake or even metallic paint.  The additive is much finer and provides a more subtle hue which changes very slightly as you walk around the car.  The car remains white, it just glows differently from different angles.  My base coat is a cream, very much like Marty's IM color (see indoor photo above), but when they're parked side-by-each his shines while mine glows.  Hard to explain, but that's the closest I can give.

Also, there are a lot of different pearl white hues (42 different ones, IIRC), from blue/gray through silvers and golds and into orange and pinks.  That's why you need to see the paint chip books in the Sun.  gn

Gordon that is one good looking ride! And the color is perfect. I was hoping to get a chance to see your late friends ivory Roadester that is coming up for sale it looks like a great car. I contacted a friend who I thought owned a IM speedester to see the IM build quality. It turned out to be a Roadster and it was for sale. I’m the proud new owner of a 98 Black Jade IM Roadester with 25k.418984BC-7C6D-4B80-AC61-DCA71149E1E7
