Their website continues to feature photos of real Porsche Speedsters and other manufacturer's replicas (presumably used without permission or credit) and not identified as such.

They had been using several of my photographs of various replicas from past events, representing them as their own. I asked them to remove them - and they did, replacing my photos with other pictures lifted from European Collectibles and the VS Website.

I don't think these guys are someone you want to do business with.
Come on Jeff, you have been around long enough to know BS when you see it. I got a think your post is tongue in cheek. You know the pictures they have are not even of a 356A? They don't even know the difference between an A model and B model? How detailed oriented could they really be? They are still building their first car....LOL.

Oh please, please let me bet the first, I can't wait to be the R and D department for them, and tell them everywhere they screwed up!!!!!!

Is it a good idea, sure!!!! Have they proven anything yet, well yes, but nothing good.
I asked him for info on how many he'd produced. No response.

I asked him if it was ok if I posted the data he did share about the cars, he didn't respond so here it is:

Thank you very much for your interest in the CSW Speedster. We are proud of the vehicle that we have created and it is always gratifying when others appreciate it.
With the exception of the appearance of the car, virtually all aspects of our car have been designed from the ground up. The use of the Honda engine was driven by the Honda reputation for reliability and performance and its relatively compact size. The engines are from the 1992 to 1996 Honda Prelude.
In addition to the Honda engine, we are currently investigating offering the turbocharged Toyota MR2 engine and initial indications are very promising. Below is a comparison of the engines:

I grew up in Kingston Ontario Canada, and have a VERY good idea of who Ted Hamilton is as I went to school with his brother. I am still in contact with his brother so I will ask him what he knows if anyone is interested. I didn't have a clue that this company existed before today. As a matter of fact I am driving from Charlotte to Toronto tomorrow (with a wife and two kids, in a MINIVAN!!!) so I will be pretty close. Most of my family is in Kingston still so thats why I didn't plan to visit that particular city...

Just to be clear, I wasn't saying the data was accurate. Given the previous comments I was posting it more as a warning of what is being claimed rather than suggesting it was fact in any way.

The lack of response to my direct questions, and the utter silence I got when I asked if I could post the info on this site only serves to add strength to the warnings and other comments.

Jeff-

not to beat a dead horse again, but the search feature would answer your question 10x over. I think (well at least me) that we are done hearing about about a phantom company the makes reps with a honda engine and has a great website that steals pictures from other companies and real p-cars and claims them as their own. Hopefully that answer your question, if not direct you to the search function to do your own query.
