Aircooled's post got me thinking about dead pedals again. I like his but I have some nerve damage in my feet and I need a full pedal as opposed to a bar. I love his, but that won't work for me.

I have OMP pedal covers on my car and OMP makes a dead pedal that comes pretty close to matching the pedal cover set.

My question is, has anybody installed one in a VS and is it possible to get it squared with the rest of the pedal faces. The way the footwell narrows makes me wonder if I would need to have a bracket fabbed to get them square.

Hi Bob...My guess is that you will have to make a wedge to install between the rest and that angled part. Angling it like that will bring it closer to your clutch pedal and may interfere occasionally. Try cutting a piece of hardwood into a wedge and mount it that way first to see if you're OK with it. If so, then cut a nice aluminum wedge.

One person bought my peg and did this and was happier with it being parallel to his pedals, both for use and appearance.   Plus he still could fold it up out of the way in city driving.............Bruce
