Distance of the mount for the side curtains

hello all,

i need help with the side curtains. i want to mount them as well as the doorrail with the holes for the curtains, but i do not know the original distance between the holes for the curtains. the cmc manuel give no information concerning the distance of the holes.

can anyone help please.

i want to set the holes right, so i also con use stock curtains later on...

The page on the CMC manual basically says you drill the holes in the rail where they are in the curtains.....hows that for accurate?

The CMC manual assumes you will build the side curtains to match the holes you've made in the door piece(somewhere in the epoxy filled area). That's why no measurement given.

I am not sure the CMC manual assumes you will match the side curtains to the holes.

My CMC side curtains came pre-drilled for the posts. So, I will have to match the holes to the posts on the side curtains.

my problem is;

i do not have the side trims with the holes. i build them by myself from wood.

else the side courtains from cmc have to be build and do not have signs where to set the holes.

therefore i do not know, where to set the holes in the curtains neither than in the side trim.

i will be glad if anyone is able to have a look at his speedster and can tell me the distance of the holes and where to locate them.

Mine... from the windshield post the holes are 4.5" and 24 3/4"

do i think right the distance between the holes ( middle to middle ) is
24,35 - 4,5? ( sorry to ask this, but my english is not perfect ).

I think Robert wants the dimensions in centimeter not inches.

Robert, multiply inches X 2.54 to get centimeters.

Text reads: A to B (Windshield post to middle of hole 4.5"
From A to C, 24.5"
From B to C, 20.5" inches.... not centimeters

if a to b is 4,5 and
a to c is 24,5
than could b to c not be 20,5...???? ( because 4,5 + 20,5 = 25 )

Well yes....your math is correct. Make that 20"
