Vanderhall makes a number of three-wheeled vehicles including one called Edison. This model is electric and has some good stats.

Vanderhall is also coming out with this electric vehicle in 2022:

Vanderhall has been around for a while and I’ve seen some of their vehicles on the road. Not many but a few and they are pretty cool machines. Just found out they make the electric ones.

Vanderhall - Our Venice and Carmel models feature a mono-aluminum chassis with a composite ABS body and a 1.4 or a 1.5 liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Edison models feature a fully electric drive train.

That's a big engine just to charge the batteries.  Mazda has prototypes of using a small rotary engine (run when needed at a constant speed) to charge their batteries.

No doors or side  impact bars is kind of scary (even though the door might no doo much).  Great cars for FL - although most would want air conditioning for commuters.  I sure don't want to be wearing a full helmet in Jul/Aug in FL!

Next time you get a chance take a good look at them. They are built locally and their build quality leaves a lot to be desired.
