Hey folks,Leon has come out of the closet! He is a stand up guy who was kind enough to travel a fairly long distance to let me see and drive his Spyder when I was trying to decide on purchasing a car. I have, through his kindness,an extended emer. brake handle as he mentions here. This is handier than a pocket on a shirt, and I'm glad he is offering them to interested people.Check him out he is good people.
Terry;

I am sorry, but I have no pics. The device is extremely simple
in it's design. It does, however, require a touch of welding,
and a bit of lathe work.

Basicly I extend the existing handle. I utilize a steel tube 7 or
8 inches long. This tube houses an extension for the push button,
and is secured to the existing handle with set screws. (The variation in tube length is due to seat location in a given vehicle.)

I made my first unit about 2.5yrs. ago and have no problems at all.

I made one for Nick Riviezzo and used up the last of my materials.

I would need at least 5 requests for this item before I could purchase
materials, and schedule machgine time.

I have not confirmed pricing, but "guesstimate" the unit going for
$30.00 to $40.00 each.

When installed, the handle is between the seats. I can grip mine
with 4 fingers as in a VW. No more reaching behind yourself.
The added leverage also helps.

Hope this answers your questions.

Thanks for the inquirey.

Leon C.
