"Is there a Beetle or Speedster version of debugging an engine that won't start?

I loved how simply this mechanic went through the steps to debug Fuel, Air, Spark, Compression and Timing."

Well, that's all I learned when I was growing up, and it works on any gasoline engine.  If you have all five of those things then it will start and run.  If one of them is out of whack, then you have specific symptoms because of it and have to track down why it's doing what it's doing and fix that, and then it should run.

If I come across a specific book that's better than that youtube video I'll give you a link, but that was pretty good.
