Just bought this poster signed by Erich Strenger in the early 1980's.  I believe he died in 1993.  Poster 50/250.  As you can see on the poster that the race was won by Hans Herrmann.  I have Hans' signature on another print in my man room.  Here is a short comment from Strenger's biography.

No one has helped to shape the image of Porsche as much as Erich Strenger — over four decades, the graphic designer created adverts, brochures, and racing posters for the storied marque. He also founded Porsche’s in-house magazine, Christophorus, and designed the company’s hallmark logo typography…

His signature does look different on the 2 prints you posted.  Mine looks like the first one.  Do you know for sure that the first one is real?  I guess someone's signature can change with time.  WTF.  Even if its not real it looks bitchin in my man room.

I'm not sure if the first one is real. It looks like it's from a series of prints in the same way you have a signed limited edition print. I give more credence to the second and third signature but only because they were provided by Der White's 356 website. All three look different to me with some similarities.

In the first and third signatures the "E" appears the same as yours. The "S" and the "g" on your print and the signature on the first print in my post appear similar and the "g" in the third and fourth example appear similar to each other but different from all the rest. The "n" in all four examples appear similar as well as the "r'.

Not sure what to think other than I'm starting to sound like one of the handwriting "experts" from Pawn Stars. Your print is very cool and I'd hang it in the an cave anytime.
