I'm planning on replacing the bonnet on my Beck 550 with one taken off a Spyder with the correct shape and have found one which obviously needs to be finished. Not knowing the rules, I will not mention the supplier. I was hoping to check with the members to see if anyone has any ideas on how to go about choosing a bodyshop in the Northern Virginia Area.

Thanks you in advance for you help and input.

I picked up a spyder book, can't remember the author - Ludvisen? Anyway, I was really surprised by all the different front and rear body treatments that the 550's had. For that matter, large parts of the body were different from year to year even from car to car. Some had roll up windows, there was one really weird looking one whose back half was as high as the windshield and rather boat-shaped. Fenders diferent heights, headlights in different positions...

I'd like to see a little lower rear fender height that the beck/TR cars have. Curious to see what you're up to.

Angela,

you are right about the different lloks of the spyder (the first 4 had a regular engine hood openning instead of a clamshell) and the book. The car with the weird hump is number 07 and thank God they decided against that look!!!

I'm still lining things up. As soom as the project gets going, I'll start posting some before and after picks.
