Why not just order the correct J pipes from A-1?
A-1 sent me the EMPI pipes and I can’t get a hold of anyone there, that’s why I’m asking who could sell me the right ones, several suppliers sell A-1 exhaust, who do you recommend?
Please don't be insulted be me asking a few additional questions. What diameter Pipe does your current A-1 sidewinder have ? Did you tell the supplier what this diameter is? The A-1 sidewinder is offered in following popular diameters , 1.5". 1.625", 1.750" . Can I also ask why the J pipes you were sent won't fit? Carey Hines at Special addition has a good relationship with A-1 I believe. You may want to contact him and see if he would be kind enough to help you sort this out. I have dealt with Pierside parts and Aircooled.net for most of my A-1 products and they seem very helpful. I look forward to your response.
Damn it. I just gave a pair away.
They may have sent you 2 of the same " J" pipe. I believe the right and left are different lengths and different in the orientation of the ends that mount to the head. Have you spoke with the supplier of the J pipes? I also think J pipes for an Empi Sidewinder system will be different than a A1 J Pipes and are not interchangeable.
Might be easier to have an exhaust shop cut the pipe in the bend and add a short straight piece. Maybe? Might work?
Here is a picture of an A1 merged sidewinder. You can see the right and left "J" pipes are not normal "J" Pipes. This type of sidewinder can never have the "J" switched for heater boxes. Did you have heater boxes on your Sidewinder? Is that why you are looking for "J" pipes?

Tiger makes two kinds of Sidewinder-- the flanged style for flanged heater boxes (or J-pipes) and what you've got @Jimmy V.

So what you really need is 1 J-pipe. They are clocked differently L-R.
Try contacting Tiger tomorrow, and try to be patient. They may be closed for Holiday or maybe busy or even sick.
I would think a simple exchange should work out if you were sent the wrong stuff.
You’re correct, they sent 2 left, I need a right one
