Will mats for VW either rubber of coco fit the front floors of our replicas? Thanks.

cocomats.com has custom fit for your build
The simple answer is yes, but you need to be specific when ordering.
There are different floor pan shapes:
A CMC/FF/VS/JPS is the same as a VW sedan
Beck and IM are both unique (slightly wider and longer).
If you tell the floor mat people what you're driving, they can match you up.
I recently went through this with Cocomats. My recommendation would be to bring some patience into the process and have the templates sent out to you. You may want to request samples of the materials you're considering as well. The templates for our mats were a little short, and the top wasn't shaped quite right. Also, the material we were initially considering was not a good match. At no extra cost we were able to make adjustments, return the templates and have them custom made to fit our speedster. Also were able to choose a better matched fabric and trim. Will add 2-3 weeks to the process, but proper mats are worth the wait.

I did the same for my CMC and am very pleased! Get Cocomats to send you templates and samples. The results will be perfect.

Agree 100%. Stunning.
I just remembered what I did years ago in my 911. At the hardware store I found rubber matting 30” wide and sold by the foot cost me all of 20 bucks, that was 20 years ago. I hope the still have it. Ha.
I went down the rubber mat road ( it’s wet often here in the Northwest). Just had to build the foot rest on the passenger side to match the angle... which was a short project, cut it out of 1/2” wood and attached to existing carpet using Velcro. Sturdy and removable without a trace. Wife really enjoys having a foot rest.
I can send some pics if you are curious how it turned out

it fits the floor & tunnel like a glove. You just have to cut the holes for your shifter ( which is premarked and easy to do). And it’s available in black, light grey, and tan.

Sounds interesting but I’m going to try to keep it simple, two pieces one for each side, this matting is cheap enough to give it a try. Cheers.

I second cocomats.com; I ordered mine over 15 years ago when my car was just built by Vintage Speedsters. If I remember correctly they already had the templates and dimensions for them. I recall I requested a slight relocation of the heel pad and they delivered. Still look great after all these years.
Thanks I’ll check

pics?........Yes please.
@Impala I didn't like the location of the heel pad on my Fiat Cocomat after I installed it. They made me a new one at no cost. I think they have amazing customer service.
Will take/post pics in the next day/two. It’s a bit crazy this week between work and kids schooling/activities.
cheers

Exactly; that’s what they did for me when I ordered. They still look halfway decent over 15 years later.

@Impala, I think the difference was in your case they moved the heel pad before they shipped your order and in my case, they moved it on a new mat after I had used the original mat.
Yes; I got it changed in the order.
