I presently own a VS 356A and am having a time finding a shop that will will work on the engine. Unless I am just going to the wrong places.

Anyone know of a good mechanic in the East Bay that you would recommend working on my air-cooled engine. I live in Danville.

What would you suggest being the regular maintenance?

Try the Bug Stop in Pacheco (pleasant Hill border). I think the phone # is 370-3090. There is also the Bug Doctor in Walnut Creek.
