1955 Porsche 550 Spyder (Beck) #42 built by Thunder Ranch El Cajon, California in 2001 - 2002.

Specs: Powder coated tubular ladder frame, Fiberglass Body, 1150 lbs, 4x CNC Drilled Disk Brakes, CNC Calibers, Jamar Hydrolic Hand Brake, CNC Hydrolic Clutch, VW Type 1 case, 2275cc, Compression 10:1, Reinforced additional motor mount., Pressure plate, Oil pump, Lightened Flywheel, Cams, Hemi Heads, 180 Horse Power Dyno Tuned, Computer machined, 4 speed VW Transaxle with gear matched to performance. Black leather racing seats, red stripes on rear fenders, Comes with rare James Dean Sticker kit: Little Bastard already on the rear and the 4 numbers '130' come with the car, original porsche 356 scripts and crests, tonneau cover, Nardi Wood Steering wheel, CNC Aluminum cutch & brake & gas pedal with momo, Porsche artic silver paint, 5 lug wheels, Dual Weber carburetor, Oil cooler, 911 Fan, 911 like red painted shroud, Wendler Badges, 356 Speedster windshield, old style head light lenses, 3" quick release racing seat belts, black German carpeting. Black Leather Engine Cover Belts , Chrome Fire Extinguisher, Lightweight battery.

Note: This particular car has been built for street spec racing and autocross. The performance and handling is very different from the basic model of the Beck 550 Spyder. It performs just like the real vintage race car.

Registered as a SPCNS 2001 and is smog exempt in California.
