I have a set of side windows from my CMC speedster that I already sold. One of them is cracked. I have pictures, but can't load them for some reason, so if you are interested email me at pjku79@yahoo.com. I am located in TX.

I am not really sure what they are worth. I see they sell them for $195 at vintage. I guess I'll take $50 plus shipping. Also, vintage has the inserts for $1.
I don't want to come across as a putz but hope this is of help to both the seller and potential buyer.
These side curtains look to be a hand crafted set with aftermarket weather stripping.
Since there are variations with speedster top placement, they'll be specific to the speedster they were fabricated for including the distance between the side curtain posts. I'd suggest length, height and post center to center measurements. ~Alan

Peter,
Unfortunately DRclock is correct. I am looking for a set of "standard issue" side windows that generally have a wire frame structure, flex "glass" and a naugahyde stiched surround. I appreciate your response and photo...but not what I need.

Jim--my suggestion would be to do a search for the Speedster windows that Lane Anderson fabbed for his car--they are spectacular.
Alternately, after I fab my lexan windows this winter,I would loan you the cardboard forms that Alan Merkin loaned me for making lexan windows that were perfect for his white Speedster he sold recently. Maybe they won't fit your car exactly but it will give you a start as you adapt them to your car.
Since your post says your car maker is unknown, maybe a custom made pair of windows is your only option---if you can't get your car's maker identified.

Jack pass them along to Jim and then they can continue the world travels to help others get a start on their custom Lexan curtains~
Jack and drclock, I don't have a top yet. I am collecting parts to put this thing together this winter. So, as parts show up I tend to buy them as I can, hence the interest in these window, until I saw they were not "conventional" I just sold my Spyder 2 weeks ago and sold a top and 2 perfectly good windows with it, all of it never installed. However, this will be my 3rd Speedster and I will use a top on it, or at least I have on the others and plan to on this one.
I just dropped the body onto the chassis today. With the molded in fiberglass floor pans, the body self positions. Guess what? Mr. Murphy strikes again. The entire body sets on the tunnel / VW chassis part about 1/2" too far toward the passenger side. And I had installed the rear wide 5 disk brake calipers on the back side of the axles, like my Spyder. Mr. Murphy also rears his ugly head on that. To clear the Speedster frame it looks like I will have to locate them on the top of the axle.....otherwise no upward travel on the rear suspension.
And this was going so well too. Drclock, it is too bad we are 1800 miles apart; otherwise I would have to bribe you with surplus Spyder parts into some serious consulting time on this beast....
So, it looks like tomorrow I will have to pull the body off the chassis and cut the fiberglass tunnel off the fiberglass pans and then move it as far as needed to center the the wheels (more of less, my other 2 cars were not perfect in this respect either....
And then reglass the tunnel to the floorboards.....and resume putting it back together?

Hey Jim, not to feel too bad about the off-center body fit. I didn't discover mine was on crooked until well after I drove it home! Eventually, I ended up making a whole new front beam assembly and I still have two different size spacers on the rear wheels. Consider yourself lucky you know your problem up front.
Good point David. Much better now than later. If anyone is interested the fiberglass pans and the rest of the car can be seen at http://www.pbase.com/tmpusfugit/356_project&page=all
The car was unfinished. Evidently it was left at a body shop for paint and the owner of the body disapeared never to be seen again. It has all the holes for the trim but it was never cut for the steering column or for the brake and clutch and the like.
