Boy Howdy. Wear a respirator and don’t get any on your hands.

I used the other DAP contact cement in the red or green can (I think Al Merklin might, too) because I didn't know that they offered a fancy-schmancy Landau Top version.  

I got whatever they had at Home Depot.    IIRC, I assembled my top in a closed 2-car garage and the glue smell wasn't bad at all.  

I found this out at a GMC old motor home renovation shop  who had inside panels come off in Texas and it was cured with the Landau top glue.

It is a bit like fibreglass that needs to be UV cured before the body is finished.    That was discovered by accident for some.

Regular contact cement has Tuolene in it. This stuff adds Hexane and Acetone to the mix.   Plus, it’s made to be sprayed, which gets a lot more bad juju airborne.

And that one is very strong; I used it on your advice. It also burns the skin....ask me how I know...
