The flyer reads as follows: "No rules....no concours judges...just car nuts talking about Porsches. Fire up your Porsche and join us for our annual Great Porsche Show-Off at the downtown Gateway Visitors Center Parking Lot...Next to Regas Riverside Tavern." This event will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 2003 from 10AM - 2PM. Additionally, the Porsche Club of Knoxville will be gathering at Long's Drugstore, 4604 Kingston Pike, at 9:00 AM for breakfast and driving the 356's in Caravan to the show site. This is possible in Tennessee in January, with sunny skies today and temps in the upper 40's. Hope the weather holds!

George and Brian, I believe this is an annual event, so maybe next time around??? Brian, there is a great 356 club in the Atlanta area. I met some of them last Fall on the "Ferdinand Porsche Birthday Run." We are going to do a combined club run in the Spring with the Atlanta and Nashville clubs meeting in Chattanooga. Perhaps you will be ready to roll?

Due to the unusual Wintry weather, the Great Porsche Show-Off has been postponed to a later unspecified date. Old man Winter dropped the shoe last night with several inches of snow. The extreme cold which will follow (single digits with sub zero wind chill) will slow the departure of snow, slush and all that stuff.

....and welcome to the "sunny South!"
