Guys I'm embarrassed to ask but: how are your J-tubes attached to the rest of your header system, and where can I get the parts?
I've got a Sebring style setup for the Spyder, primaries are 1 5/8. The J tubes just slip into the 2/1 collectors on each side. I bought the setup used (I think it may have been installed on the previous car for about 20 minutes; maybe not) and there is no clamp or flange to seal the J unions.
I recall my stock pipes had two-bolt clamps on each side with like this asbestos donut inside. Those seemed cool. I don't see anything like that available for a 1 5/8-inch pipe.
